In holdem limit if there is going to be someone that is making the raise do not compete to re-raise to show that you are better in the table, rather just play cool. This is because in holdem limit the only way to have a juicy pot is to have a maximum number of bets. If you are going to re-raise you will be making the situation costly for the rest of the people in the table and some might fold, but if you will be not making the re-raise then the other people in the table will think that they are still better and they will contribute to the raise. Remember one re-raise might not be equal to 3 or 4 raise bets in the pot. In holdem limit if you are likely to win, never show it off, rather try to collect as many bets as possible.

Beware of the table image in your holdem limit and if you are consistently going to make bets that are very small in the flop and turn, then players will call you out of position with holding just drawing hands in the pre-flop. This they will do knowing that you will be betting just a small bet further allowing them to get some improvement draws for a small price. Never let your opponents be playing in the hand because you will let them get some inexpensive draws rather they should fear to play against your moves.

No limit holdem game essentially seems to have less of tying to correlate between the basic happenings in the table. In many cases of no limit holdem players tend to misrepresent what they have, and in some cases a crap player will raise even in the turn, where even the best winning player will doubt about the reliability his pockets. For a new player the no limit holdem table is going to hold unsure advantage most of the time, because the opponent quality of no limit holdem is going to be very intricate and complicated.
