In holdem limit when you are holding high pairs then you are probably holding a strong hand before the flop in the pre-flop round; however, consider your position and if you see you have high ranks you can put a lot of money in the pot and make the low hands fold.  You will still see heads up in holdem limit regardless of high bets because they are ready for a risk.  If you are really strong if they fold you are getting less competition, if they are still heads up you get more money in your pot.  Especially in holdem limit do not expect high bet pre-flop to bring in lot of fold unless the players are conservative tight.

In limit holdem never try to draw on the low end of the either ends of the straight.  It should usually ignored; you need to also remember that the most of the mediocre ranks that are unconnected in pockets should be considered at par with low cards and are in most cases unplayable; they are in the very weak category.

Low pairs should be played in holdem limit with a close consideration to position.  Almost all the low pairs from 66 through 22 should not be played in early position.  Even if you are playing such from late position you will land up with folding in the flop if most are going to make your opponent for aggressive and rises especially in cases of high rank board. Unless you are going to flop quads better fold.

In cases you have chances to make a trip or a flush or a straight in the holdem limit after a flop, you can still bet raise, never give up go aggressive to see what the turn has.  Make the turn costly for others let them imagine wild that you are going great despite the garbage you hold with waiting for improvement.

In many cases post flop if you have bright probabilities of flush or trips you will have to bet aggressively.  Even in cases where you have 2 high over card in an unfavorable flop or with an Ace instead of 2 high over card you can still bet in cases where you can make a straight or flush or trip in the draws in holdem limit games.  Watch in every go of holdem limit if you have a nut in your suits when you catch one make the maximum raise each time and call every hand as always.
